Kibo Safari Camp, managed by Patterson's is a new addition of a luxury-tented camp situated in Amboseli National Park. It is an approximate 250 km drive from Nairobi.
It exudes a rustic appeal to luxury as most of its construction was implemented with use of natural materials hence giving it a more natural look. All 70 luxury tents are ensuite with built in showers and toilets. Kibo also has a separate open terraced restaurant and Bar under acacia trees overlooking the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro. A beautifully designed swimming pool is also available. The camp is surrounded by an electric fence to keep the large animals out. Even so they are so close that you can comfortably sit in your porch and watch elephants and other animal strolling and grazing close by. Activities: that can be done at Kibo Safari Camp include Game Drives, Cultural tours to Maasai Manyattas, Cultural Maasai Dances, and Camp Bonfires
