Dave was born in Nairobi 1970 and brought up in Kenya. After completion of Hotel / Tourism Management in Switzerland he worked in the industry for 04 years before starting Sunworld Safaris with Gabriele, his partner in business & life.

Rebecca was born in 1983 in Nakuru & is Kikuyu by tribe. She is the youngest member of the Sunworld Team currently.Rebecca joined the hospitality industry in 2003 after enrolling in a hospitality course at the renowned Utalii College in Nairobi.

Aliya was born in Mombasa, Kenya in 1980. She worked in the tourism industry in Uganda for 4 years in various professions including camp Management of the up-market Nile Porch Tented Camp on the banks of the Nile, before returning to Nairobi late 2009.

Siggi Hosenfeld started working on "Kenya Travel Ideas" in 2003 after her first safari to Kenya. She has returned to Kenya many times after that memorable first visit and considers it now one of her homes.

Mary was born on 08TH March 1979 in Embu and grew up in Meru District. Mary has been in the tourism industry since the year 2000, when she joined Utalii College for a tourism training course and graduated in 2002.

Nadeem was born and bred in Kenya. He is a 34 year old, 4th generation Kenyan citizen of Asiatic origin. He was mainly raised in the Maasai Mara centre town, called Narok, where most of his family still reside.

Name: Sonal Parekh
Position: Senior Safaris Consultant

Born in 1978 and bred in Kenya, Sonal joined the Sunworld Team in 2000 and worked in our Nairobi head office until October 2005 when she left to settle in the UK. She is now our contact there to assist locally based and international clients with first hand safari advice on phone & e-mail.

Nahashon was born in 1982 in Nanyuki, north of Nairobi. (Kikuyu by tribe) Nahashon graduated as a certified accountant in 2006 but joined Sunworld Safaris as an assistant in 2004.

Julius was born in 1974 in Muranga village and is Kikuyu by tribe. Julius has been an accountant since 1997 and has worked in various auditing firms. He joined Sunworld in 2001 and has since been in charge of our audit reports & all the “penny counting” at Sunworld.

Thomas was born in 1969 and is Embian by tribe, one of the Bantu speaking tribes in Kenya. Thomas has been in the tourism branch since 1994 as a lecturer in various local colleges teaching wildlife knowledge and tours.

Joanne was born on 20th October 1981 and grew up in Meru district. Joanne has been in the tourism industry since the year 2000, when she joined Utalii College for a tourism training course and graduated in 2004.
