"I live in Berlin, working as a IT-Administrator in the public service, and for the last 12 years have traveled & explored Africa's National Parks and Reserves during my holidays.
South & Eastern Africa has drawn me into its spell since my very first safari. My friends and family often ask me: "What is it that attracts you to go on safari again and again?" It is hard to put into words; I like to quote Karen Blixen, which describes it for me so fittingly: "There is something about ‘safari-life' that makes you forget all your worries and gives you the feeling of having just drunk half a bottle of Champagne - there is something that makes you bubble over for a deep heartfelt gratitude for life ..."

Schon als Kind war ich von wilden Tieren fasziniert. Besonders hat mich die afrikanische Tierwelt begeistert. Ich habe mit 15 Jahren mit der Naturfotografie begonnen - anfangs natürlich nur zu Hause bzw. in Österreich. Meine erste Reise nach Afrika unternahm ich 1995 - seitdem bin ich von diesem berühmten "Afrika-Virus" unheilbar befallen.
