I was born in Duisburg in 1953 (the Ruhr pot) and moved to Hamburg at the age of 20. I have been traveling to Africa more or less at regular intervals since 1979. I discovered my real passion for wildlife after my intensive photo Safari with Sunworld in 2004. Elephants and hyenas are some of my favorite animals. I don't consider myself as an authority of the world of photography because I am still in the learning stages even though I learn very fast. In my photography I try to look for something special in the animals. At times one can succeed in getting the desired motif, but it requires a lot of patience and time. I am however not comfortable with the overcrowding at the parks. Sunworld Safaris guarantees me tailor-made Safaris unlike the off- the -shelf Safaris. Their professional organization and friendly service both in Vienna and in Nairobi complement each other and this is evident in their operation.
