Macushla House
The Macushla House is a very friendly guest house, set in the heart of Langata, just 20 minutes from the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
In the past there were two semi-detached cottages and now one, it overlooks one of the last pockets of indigenous forest in the area.
A maximum of ten guests can be accommodated at any one time in what the owners describe as a ‘home from home’.
There is a swimming pool, bar, dining room and two bedroom wings.
Macushla is also within easy reach of a number of local attractions, including Nairobi National Park, local craft workshops, and the Giraffe Centre and bird walk.
It is the best option for people who don't like the big hotels in the town.
