This safari takes you from Kenya’s less frequented to the most popular national parks & reserves. It is the perfect combination between flying & driving to shorten distances while still being able to experience the “country & its people” at first hand. Enjoy staying at some of the most beautiful and luxurious Safari Lodges & Tented Camps Kenya has to offer. Most of all however you will have your private 4 x 4 vehicle and knowledgeable guide at your disposal for unlimited game drives without time restrictions. NAIROBI – MERU - SAMBURU - SWEETWATERS – LAKE NAIVASHA - MASAI MARA – NAIROBI Meal Plan:BB - bed & breakfast (breakfast only) HB - half board (breakfast & dinner) FB - full board (breakfast, lunch & dinner) DAY 01: Nairobi arrival Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. You will be met by our company representative and transferred to Ngong House. This exclusive Lodge is located on the outskirts of the City, approx 30 mins. drive from the international Airport. Here you can escape all the hustle and bustle of the Nairobi and enjoy a quiet start to you safari and ideal for all birder enthusiasts. All meals and overnight at Ngong House. (can be booked on BB / HB or FB, depending on your arrival time) DAY 02: Nairobi – Meru National Park

DAY 04: Meru National Park – Samburu Game Reserve After breakfast depart by road for the famous and well visited Samburu Game Reserve, a semi-arid desert where rare species of animals such as the long necked Gerenuk, Reticulated giraffe, Grevys zebra, Somali Ostrich & Beisa Oryx reside. Arrive for lunch at your luxury tented Camp and enjoy your first exciting game drive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight will be at Larsen’s Tented Camp (FB). DAY 05 & 06: Samburu Game Reserve Spend a full day in the Park with unlimited game drives as per your convenience. With a bit of luck you may even encounter the elusive leopard or other cats during your game drives which are commonly seen in Samburu. A treat but hard to find may be the Greater or Lesser Kudu Antelope with its splendid antlers. Al meals and overnight at Larsen’s Tented Camp (FB).
DAY 07: Samburu Game Reserve – Sweetwater’s Private Sanctuary Enjoy a last early morning game drive in this scenic reserve, surrounded by mountains. After breakfast depart for Sweetwater’s Private Game Sanctuary. Arrive in time for a late lunch at a beautifully landscaped Ranch House, set against the spectacular backdrop of the magnificent Mt Kenya.. Originally the home of Lord Tom Delamere, Ol Pejeta House is a a luxurious, private house, set within the pristine calm of the Sweetwaters Sanctuary. Here you can retreat back to history, to the bygone traditions of Kenya’s farmhouse hospitality. Afternoon game drive in in search for …elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo, Oryx, silver backed jackal and more. Dinner and overnight at Ol Pejeta Ranch House(FB). DAY 08: Sweetwater’s Private Sanctuary

DAY 09: Sweetwater’s Private Sanctuary – Lake Naivasha & Oserian Wildlife Sanctuary You may wish to take a last early morning game drive before departing (after breakfast) for Lake Naivasha, driving via the scenic Nyahururu escarpment with a short stopover at Thomson’s Falls. You will arrive at Chui Lodge for a late lunch. Set in the privately owned Oserian Wildlife Sanctuary, Chui Lodge is an exclusive and exquisite paradise nestled in a grove of Euphorbia trees, overlooking a waterhole with the dramatic Mau Escarpment as a backdrop. Enjoy scheduled activities offered by the Lodge in their vehicle. Dinner and overnight at Chui Lodge.(FB) |
