Dennis Mwangi
Letter from Dennis Mwangi: I was born in 1985 in the vast central province, which is famed for its various wildlife and tourist attractions such as the Aberdares National Park and Mount Kenya. It is the second highest mountain in Africa and the only spot in the world where one can find snow around the equator. I later relocated to Narok County, near the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, which is the eighth wonder of the world. My passion in tourism and wildlife grew at a tender age of 12 years after being actively involved in various conservation projects in school, like the wildlife clubs and friends of conservation. Watching wildlife documentaries such as ‘Londolozi' by renowned Sir David Attenborough extended my knowledge in the tourism industry. I am a silver level guide with Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association. I joined Sunworld Safaris with the objective of expanding my knowledge in tourism and wildlife in Kenya. I have worked for Mara Simba Lodge and Entumoto Safari Tented Camp. One of my best moments as a guide was when I had the privilege to take the deputy speaker of the Swedish parliament for a game drive. My hobbies include travelling, driving, swimming and socializing. |
