My passion for wildlife and conservation started early in life and I was actively involved in conservation by being a member and patron of the Wildlife Clubs of Kenya throughout my secondary education. Being a member enabled me to visit most of our national parks and reserves.

I was born on 27th December 1968 in Kambu. Am Kikuyu by tribe, Christian and marries with four children. My wife is also a Kikuyu and very hard working. I attended Ofafa Jericho High School up to my O-Levels after which I went to college. At the same time I was helping my brother in attending safaris in different game reserves and national parks in Kenya which fuelled my interest in wildlife.

I was born and brought in Meru District, in a village known as Mpuri sub location on the 23rd January 1960. I did my primary education at Mpuri D. E. B School and proceeded on for secondary education at Katheri High School where I attained my Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) in 1981. Thereafter, I joined Thika National College to study Motor Vehicle Mechanics and General Fitting of vehicles.

My name is Leonard Kipkorir Sigei. I was born in Bomet district of the Rift Valley province on 4th April 1967. I am married and have two children. Throughout my education I have had enormous interest in languages, nature and interacting with people from different cultural backgrounds. In 1991 I was offered an opportunity to study German language at the international Institute for cultural exchange and languages in Bonn Germany.
