Letter from Stanley:

My name is Stanley Mutuku Kinyolo, I was born in 1960 in Iveti location of Machakos district. I am a Kamba by tribe and married with three children. I am also a born again Christian. I visited Primary School in the same area and completed my education.

My interest in wildlife started from a very young age as my father was a safari guide for over 30 years with a reputable company here in Kenya. I always admired my father for his great knowledge about wildlife and was fascinated by his stories about animal behavior. Due to my strong interest and fascination in wildlife my father decided to teach me everything he knew. One day I knew that I would follow his footsteps into the same profession as a safari guide. After some work experience as a metal worker I was lucky to be introduced and employed by Ker and Downey Safaris and Don Young himself taught me even more about ornithology wildlife.  I later on attended refresher courses at the Kenya Utalii College to sharpen my knowledge in the tourism industry. I then joined another local  Safari Operator as a Safari Guide who specialized in Luxury Camping in Kenya. In 1999 I decided to become a member of the Kenya Professional Safari Guide Association where I am holding a bronze badge until today. I am now keen on studying for the silver level exam.

Now, I am employed as a Safari Guide by SUNWORLD SAFARIS and have since taken guests from all over the world around our beautiful country Kenya.
