Itinerary
DAY 01: 17.10.2008 Arrival Nairobi
Upon arrival you will be met by our Sunworld representative and transferred to your town hotel, Nairobi Safari Club or similar for overnight. (BB)
DAY 02: 18.10.2008 Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park
Even cheetahs like to relax sometimes !
After a hearty breakfast we begin the safari. You will be driven along the breathtaking Great Rift Valley (with a short stop at viewpoint for photographic opportunities) to arrive in time for lunch at your luxury tented camp in Lake Nakuru National Park. Afternoon game drive at 15.30 hrs. This park is best known for its rhino protection scheme which will offer you an excellent chance of viewing the White & Black endangered Rhino as well as the Defasa Waterbuck, the Rothsschild Giraffe and the Black & White Colobus monkey with a bit of luck. Most of all however, you will experience thousands of Greater & Lesser Flamingo colouring the lake pink. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Camp or similar. (FB)
DAY 03: 19.10.2008 Lake Nakuru National Park
You will spend another exciting day in this magical park. Numerous game drives ensure that you will not get bored ! Go in search of lion and leopard and enjoy the amazing view from Baboon Cliff. All meals and overnight at Flamingo Hill Camp or similar. (FB)
DAY 04: 20.10.2008 Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara
After a scrumptious breakfast, depart for the world renowned Maasai Mara Game Reserve, driving via the Maasai town of Narok. The Maasai Mara is the home of the proud Maasai people. Enjoy lunch at Keekerok Lodge and afterwards a leisurely game drive in search of the “Big Five”. You will arrive at Mara Bush Camp, tucked away in a river rine forest, late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Mara Bush Camp. (FB)

DAYS 05 – 08: 21.10.2008 – 24.10.2008 Maasai Mara
Picnic in the Bush
You will spend the next four days in the Mara where you will have a good chance of seeing herds of buffalo and zebra as well as hippos and many other animals and birds. Go on a full day game drive and enjoy a picnic lunch out in the bush or return to camp for lunch should you so wish. A visit to a Maasai village is planned to give offer you a glimpse of a very different way of life. At this time of year the Great Migration passes through the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. It is an amazing sight to behold when 1.5 million gnus are on the move across the plains. You may even be fortunate enough to see one of the dramatic river crossings. All meals and overnight in Mara Bush Camp. (FB)
DAY 09: 25.10.2008 Maasai Mara – Nairobi
After one last early morning game drive and a scrumptious breakfast, it is time to drive back to Nairobi. You will reach town at approximately 4 pm. We will then transfer you to your international or domestic flight, should you wish to continue on to the coast for a beach holiday.
