Hells Gate is a small national park with only 68sq km, but with impressive scenery.
The area is 90km far away from the main capital Nairobi and near Lake Naivasha.

Famous is this nature park for his great visual impact. Hot geysers, Fischer’s Tower, Njorowa Gorge canyon are only a few of this natural wonders which stamping this landscape.

Fischers Tower is a 25 meters (75 ft) high rocky tower formed by semi-molten rock forced to a fissure, cooling and solidifying as it extruded is located near the main entrance of the park. From this point, you can walk up to the Central Tower or go down to the Lower Gorge. The George walk is one of the main attractions in the Hells Gate national park. Typical for this area is also the occurrence of obsidian, a distinctive black glass-like rock.

Visistors can explore the park by car or walk through the area. Climbing, camping, bird watching and wildlife viewing is also possible.

But not only the scenery is impressive there are also animals like, Masai giraffe, antelope, buffalo, leopard, hyrax and lion. More than hundred bird species are also recorded in the park.
