KWS postpones increment of Park entry fees for 2008 E-mail
Due to the crisis Kenya experienced at the beginning of this year KWS has now decided to postpone the planned increment of park entrance fees until January 2009 in order to support the ailing tourism industry in its quest to attract visitors.

The Executive Director of KWS has made this statement at the event of the new opening of the Lake Nakuru National Park Airstrip. He also mentioned that further rate concessions are planned for Tsavo National Park (East & West), Aberdare National Park , Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Mount Kenya and Nairobi National Park. All main airstrips within these parks will be rehabilitated and offer clients also the opportunity to fly in instead of driving on partially dilapidated roads.
