Profession: Veterinarian „Career in photography“: I spend a better part of my daily life with a reflex camera by my side. During my first photo stints, landscape and wildlife photography became more appealing to me than the mere snap shots of Buildings; lucky enough this was complemented by my hobbies and holiday objectives. My first journey to the African Continent in 2002 took me to South Africa, the most beautiful corner of the world. The breathtaking world of wildlife and the great landscape with its never ending expanses made it hard for me to leave Africa. As a result I planned a longer stay in Namibia with a one month training, I was lucky to work closer with wild animals and this was followed by other trips to the southern part of the continent. In 2007 I made my first journey to the eastern part of Africa and I was even more fascinated by this other part of the African continent. My next safari is already underway.
