Grown up in "Ruhrpott" I have moved aged 25 to the Allgaeu. The grand landscape fascinated me immediately. However, until my first serious photographic steps were established it took a while. About 05 years ago I then started digital photography with a reflex camera (SLR). Since then passion has gripped me and I often walk and climg the mountains. Being sportive and active as a nature photographer I find my balance in it to my rather technical profession. I find peace and tranquility and great joy in discovering so much detail if only looking carefully. Without great expectation my girlfriend and I visited Africa for the first time and we were gripped by the Africa Virus which bestows one strongly to return. The Safaris I have undertaken with Sunworld have also not healed me. On the contrary, my thirst to discover more is becoming increasingly difficult to quench. My equipment: Nikon Camera with lenses from Nikon & Tamron of 17 - 400 mm. I photograph only digitally. Pls. find below photos taken by Gerd Müller |
