Since childhood I had a Natural love for the outdoors. I remember in my very younger school going days when I love to watch wildlife programmes like Anglia's " Survival" series. It gave me a huge enthusiasm to the wild. When my father gifted me a Camera for my 18th Birthday, I straightaway started taking pictures at my home garden, photographing plants and small insects

I developed an interest to photograph the most elusive" Leopard", the Top cat of the predatory Chain in Sri Lanka.

During that time I made my first visit to a National Park in the south of my country (Sri Lanka) called " YALA" and came out with some pleasing images of Leopards and elephants. And thereafter my love for photography began.

Now Quite serious in my passion for Photography I have began to travel outside my Country including India, Now Africa and hope to travel to the Arctic in the future.

Equipment:
I have been using canon equipment from the inception but made the switch to Nikon due to personnel reasons. I used the D3s and 200-400 f4 VR2 lens with a 1.4 extender attached, exclusively in the MARA.
