 Die Hälfte meines Lebens verbringe ich nun schon mit einer
Spiegelreflexkamera an meiner Seite. Bereits während der ersten
Experimente mit der Kamera wurde klar, dass mir das Fotografieren von
Landschafts- und Tiermotiven mehr Freude bereitete als das Ablichten
von Gebäuden, was sich glücklicherweise auch mit meinen Urlaubszielen
und Hobbies deckte.

 Als Schlüsselerlebnis für den Einstieg in die Naturfotografie war im Jahre 2000 eine Reise nach Costa Rica mit seiner unbeschreiblichen Fauna und Flora.
Die fotografische Ausbeute überzeugte mich überhaupt nicht, so dass ich mich in den folgenden Jahren intensiv mit der Naturfotografie beschäftige und meine Ausrüstung vollständig austauschte.
