For over twenty years Jami has traveled all over the world to remote places to find animals and beautiful landscapes with her camera. She grew up in eastern Pennsylvania running around in the forests surrounding her home. She fell in love with the solitude of being in nature. After finishing her education and business career, Jami decided to find this solace again and decided to photograph wildlife and nature full time. Jami loves the outdoors, sports, adventure and travel. But it was her passion and compassion for the natural world that fueled her love for photography. She focuses on endangered species and threatened habitats. Her deepest hope is that her work can contribute in some small way to preserving the environment by visually presenting its fragility. Jami's work is represented through agencies and is published worldwide. She lives in the Yukon Territory of northern Canada with her life-partner and fellow photographer Theo Allofs .
