Margarete Ardell
Margarete grew up in south west England and studied anthropology, although nowadays she is far more interested in animal behaviour. During the last twenty years she has travelled extensively in sub-Saharan Africa with her camera. Her pictures have been used to promote East Africa and especially Kenya as a destination.

Margarete is a member of the Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association. She loves the Masai Mara with its wide variety of game but her favourite place is Meru. When in Nairobi she enjoys visiting Daphne Sheldricks Elephant Orphanage, where she has adopted one of the babies!!
