I live in Pembrokeshire, a county by the sea in the far west of the UK. Here I can indulge my passion for photographing birds, animals, whales, dolphins and landscapes. I have been a birder for nearly 40 years but with the advent of digital photography my main interest has switched from birding to photography. Since retiring I have been fortunate to travel, with my wife Sarah, to many interesting parts of the world. In August 2011 we went on a 10 day safari to Kenya with Sunworld. The organisation was superb and with the help of an extremely knowledgable guide/driver I was able to see and photograph a wide range of birds and mammals - a fantastic first taste of Africa.
