thank you so much for an extraordinary stay at Mara Bushcamp in December 2010. Aliyah and her team make the camp so familiar and comfortable that everybody feels at home from the first second. They actually read your wishes in your mind.Especially Aliyah did me a great favour to organize a short stay in your guestroom in Nairobi to have a rest before I had to leave Kenya very early in the morning. My driver guide Michael was fantastic with a perfect view for hidden animals, always looking for the best position and the best light. I enjoyed my stay very much. Thank you. zunächst einmal vielen, vielen Dank für dieses wunderschöne Urlaubserlebnis - nicht zuletzt auch durch "unseren" Fahrer Mawshi. Unsere fünfte Keniareise, die erste mit Sunwold-Safari, führte uns erstmals nach Samburu. Wir sahen nicht nur einen, sondern in den ersten drei Tagen DREI!!!! Leoparden. Wir hatten Glück, Glück, Glück - und waren begeistert genauso wie auch vom weiteren Verlauf der Safari. Es ist ein wunderbarer Park und wir haben den Aufenthalt dort in der Samburu-Lodge, genauso wie in dem von Herrn Nowak für uns ausgesuchten Indian Ocean Beach Hotel in dem wir ebenfalls regelrecht umsorgt wurden, sehr genossen und uns bestens erholt.
Dank an Herrn Nowak für die perfekte Organisation und unserem Fahrer Mawshi für die tollen Tiersichtungen und kenntnisreichen Erklärungen. Wir werden hoffentlich bald wieder mit Sunwold reisen können.

Dear Sunworld,

My name is Robert Unsworth. From November 5 to November 21, my wife and I, along with, Mr and Mrs Graham Clark, travelled through Kenya on a photo safari. Sunworld provided lodge reservations, park entrance fees and transportation with driver/guides. The trip was arranged and led by Mr Stu Porter of Wild4photosafaris.

We were extremely pleased by the quality of service that your firm provided. Every pickup from the Nairobi airport on arrival, to the drop off for departure, was on time with friendly and helpful drivers.

We know that our photographic experience was greatly enhanced by the skill of our two guides.
John Karesi, our driver, and James Nganga, the Clark’s driver, were both skilled at spotting wildlife and positioning the vehicle to allow us the best light and angle for photographing.
They displayed an ability to anticipate animal behaviour so that we were located to await the animal arrival. Their friendly interest and the desire to please was evident throughout the safari.
My wife is a birder and John was invaluable in identifying the 135 species that we encountered.

We have travelled with Stu Porter in the past. His skill and guidance for wildlife photography was a big part of our returning home with memorable images from our trip.
The combination of Sunworld and Wild4photosaris made a great team that we will remember with fondness, each time we revisit our images.

Our first visit to Africa was amazing, we are sure to come again. The Simba Safari was phenomenal, the accomodation was fantastic, especially the Mara Bush Camp - 5 star luxury in the middle of the bush, the attention to detail was fabulous, down to the hot water bottle at night. What a great camp to lie in bed and listen to the Hippo's grunting around the tents at night. The staff were great and we felt nothing was a problem, they were genuinely friendly and interested in your day - brilliant.
Finally a word about our guide/driver - Steve, awesome!!! very knowledgable about everything, but especially the beautiful birds - his enthusiasm passed on to me subsequently I have many amazing photo's of these gorgeous coloured birds. The Masai Mara was our favourite reserve, so very busy and able to get so close to the wildlife especially the cats and the great migration.
Thanks again it was such a fabulous holiday it felt like a dream, but now we are dreaming of ways to come back. Asante sana

The trip was fantastic and we really had a great time. The Tortilis Camp was amazing - food and services were superb.

The driver/guide was very experienced, professional and knowledgeable.

The trip after all is something I would definitely recommend to friends and others.
