Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival In Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be transferred to Tamarind Tree Hotel.

Day 2
Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve (Approximately 6 Hours’ drive)
After breakfast we proceed on a 6 hour road trip from to Maasai Mara, sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Ukulele Jam on route. We will travel in 2 vehicles, one with Michela and one with Boris.
Arrive in time for lunch. The drives are usually arranged early in the morning and late in the evening to capture the animals at their busiest. Late afternoon, first ukulele workshop at the fireplace!
On the road to Masai Mara we will let nature do its thing and inspire us with beautiful sceneries. During the 6 hours road trip we will jam on our ukuleles, sing songs and have a good time!
Overnight at Mara Bush Camp on full board.

Day 3 & 4
Masai Mara National Reserve
During the stay in Masai Mara we will see lots of animals and every late afternoon we will gather by the campfire and write songs inspired by the experiences we had and the things we saw on that day and dance!

Day 5
Masai Mara National Reserve – Lumo Community Wildlife Sanctuary
After Lunch depart for the Lumo Conservancy on a domestic flight at 1400 hours to arrive at 1500 hours. Lions Bluff Lodge is suspended above an ancient elephant migratory corridor, with stunning panoramic views extending across the Lumo Community Sanctuary and the Tsavo eco-system. All rooms and guest areas, take advantage of the incredible vista stretching over the grass plains and the surrounding landscapes that include Mt Kilimanjaro, the smoke-grey peaks of the Pare Mountains, Taita hills/Chyulu hills on the right and Mkomazi/Usambara mountains on left. The conservancy is rich in history too, a great deal of the World War 1 war fought, won and lost by the European superpowers and their allies in their backyard. With plenty to do and see, there is no room for boredom in the conservancy.
Your next few days are spent relaxing and going on extended game drives. Activities included in your stay are day game drives, 1 night game drive and 1 sundowner

Lumo Community Wildlife Sanctuary
Every day we will have lots of fun learning ukulele songs, playing body percussion, musical games, and composing ukulele songs together!

Day 7
Lumo Community Wildlife Sanctuary – Chale Island
After breakfast and a game drive on-route, embark on a scenic road trip to Chale Island, with packed lunches. Here your beach relaxation begins. The rest of the days at the beach are spent at leisure. You can choose from various activities offered through the hotel, or just relax by the pool and beach. Overnight at the The Sands at Chale Island on full board.
Time to fully relax! The experience of the sandy beaches and blue waters of the Chale Island can only be sweeter with some music on the side! We will be sitting on the beach during sunset and learning traditional African and Kenyan rhythms playing ukulele songs and composing our musical diary together!

After breakfast, for those departing from Nairobi, embark by Safarilink. Departure is at 1530 hours to arrive Wilson Airport at 1710 hours. Transfer to your hotel (accommodation booked on your own arrangement) or JKI Airport.
