My interest in nature and wildlife began at an early age. I grew up near the infamous Lewa wildlife conservancy; which at the time was not fenced in. My favorite time of day was night time because the sounds of the animals from the conservancy would echo through the night.
While I enjoyed those sounds and mysteries of wildlife, there were those in my community who would hunt these animals mercilessly with crude weapons and snares. Seeing this made me develop a strong interest in conservation and understanding wild animals. I wanted to protect all wildlife and got involved in conservation work. I joined the Sunworld Family in 2012 and love being out in the bush. I especially love wildlife photography!
My passion for wildlife continues and I am grateful to show you my world!

I was born in Makueni County in the eastern province of Kenya. Growing up, my responsibilities were taking care of the family's livestock. This gave me the opportunity to appreciate animals from a young age. I developed a passion for being out in the bush and seeing wildlife that most people take for granted.
My interest in animals led me to join a Camping Safari Company where I undertook several trips to national parks and reserves around Kenya. Soon, my knowledge of birds and of flora and fauna grew immensely. Today, I am an active member of the Kenya professional guides association. I have worked with several photographers and film crews and participated as a naturalist guide in nature walks as well as cultural tourism.
I look forward to showing you the beauty wildlife in Kenya!

I was born in Western Kenya. My interest in nature started in my early school days when I was a member of the Wildlife Clubs of Kenya. After my O-Levels, I enrolled in Kenya Utalii College where I received a Diploma in Tour Guiding and Administration. During the course, I did my practical training in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve where I gained an immense amount of knowledge on wildlife and guiding.
My achievements consist of participating in the World Bird Watch Day on several occasions and being an active member of Nature Kenya, an organization that promotes the study and conservation of nature in Kenya and works to improve public understanding of biodiversity. I have worked for Sunworld Safaris since 2005 as a professional Safari Guide in both Kenya and Tanzania. I don't consider my job work because everyday I get to do what I love.
I love to share the knowledge I have gained in the field, over the years and cannot wait to share it with you!

I was born just West of Maasai Mara. I was introduced to wildlife and conservation at a young age through a family friend, who was a game ranger in Maasai Mara. I used to visit him as a young boy and gained a high respect for game rangers and the animals they protect. In school I was an active member of the Kenya wildlife club and never missed a tour to the various parks and reserves.
As a young boy I could identify several birds by name. It was therefore simple to transfer this knowledge into ornithological knowledge. I started my career as a guide with Trans World Safaris from 2002 - 2008. I then joined Sunworld Safaris in 2008 and have been here ever since. I have vast experience with wildlife, especially birds. In March 2009, Sunworld Safaris sponsored me for a one week birding course in Naivasha. I was one of the top five best students in my class.
The Maasai Mara has always been my home, who better to welcome you to Kenya than me!

My interest in nature and wildlife started in my early years in primary school. I grew up in the Rift Valley, an area in Kenya with a lot of wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Throughout my schooling I was an active member of Wildlife Clubs of Kenya. My role inthe club sharpened my knowledge in Flora & Fauna. I also began to understand the importance of conservation to protect our beautiful country's rich heritiage.
After my high school education, I joined the Wildlife Clubs of Kenya for training in Tourism and Research. In addition, I did courses in Tourism Administration and French. It was at the Wildlife Research Centre where I learnt most about Wildlife and the eminent danger of extinction facing some species. My internship at Nairobi National park improved my guiding skills a great deal. The highlight of my guiding exposure was with Mara Bush Camp in the heart of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve where I gained the most experience in guiding and wildlife spotting. I joined Sunworld Safaris in 2010 and have had wonderful Safaris with clients from all parts of the world ever since.
I love traveling and especially to see wildlife. I cannot wait to share with you what Kenya has to offer!

I was born in the famous Rift Valley place called Naivasha. Due to the great surrounding the area for both flora and fauna, I developed the interest to protect and preserve the nature while I was still in primary school. I find myself to be a very lucky person as I would get to see different kind of wildlife and beautiful birds everyday on my way to school!
I enrolled in the Environment club in school and later joined an Institute for Management of Wildlife and Tour Guiding.
I love to share my great passion of nature that I developed and the knowledge with different people.
My greatest passion is to take pictures of landscapes, birds and wildlife!

I grew up in Nairobi and I've had the privilege of visiting the National parks from a very young age while in school. From these early experiences with nature and wildlife, my interest in the natural beauty of birds and the history of East Africa grew.
My passion for wildlife and the environment turned into the courses I studied and then my career. I began working in Camping Safaris in 1996. I soon rose to serving as camp manager. I did most of my camp training in Kenya and Tanzania and thus developed great knowledge of camping destinations in East Africa. I attended an Eco - Tourism course led by Ian Johnson of South Africa and later obtained a license. I started guiding at Olonana Camp in the Maasai Mara. I continued to sharpen my skills in guiding with several courses in wildlife conservation and Eco-tourism. I later joined Africa Horizons where I worked in the same position as a safari guide. In 2009 I joined Tamimi East Africa Salas Camp as a senior guide. I have had the opportunity to visit most of the parks in Kenya. I have gone on Safari with photographers and film crews. I Joined Sunworld Safaris in 2010 and have greatly expanded my guiding skills.
I look forward to sharing my knowledge with you on Safari. Karibu Kenya!

My interest in nature and wildlife began as a young boy watching elephant herds crossing the school compounds. I loved the animals around us and in high school I became an active member of the Wildlife Clubs of Kenya. My passion for wildlife and conservation grew and I soon started training at Wildlife clubs of Kenya (WCK) Centre for tourism. There, I received a certificate in tour guiding and a diploma in tourism and wildlife studies. I have also participated in the annual ornithology course organized by Nature Kenya with the input of renowned birders and writers. My wildlife knowledge grew while I was a volunteer at Kenya Wildlife service (KWS) as the chief custodian of Kenyan wildlife. I was involved in clean-up activities, de-snaring, biodiversity conservation at Nairobi Park and Giraffe Centre. I spent time with Heritage Hotels, both at their Mara and Samburu Intrepids camps as a driver/guide, exploring both eco-systems extensively. I learnt a lot of my guiding skills by working as a naturalist guide at Mbweha Camp located close to the Lake Nakuru National Park. I had the pleasure of conducting night game drives, bird walks, hikes and biking excursions for individuals and groups at Congreve Conservancy.
Joining Sunworld in 2010, I have been able to hone in on my guiding skills. Since I love the outdoors and wildlife, I am committed to giving the best safari tours possible.

My love and passion for wildlife and conservation started while I was in High School. I attended a high school which was next to the famous Maasai Mara. I loved it when elephants would damage/break the fence and wander around the school during class time.
My joy and satisfaction in Tour Guiding is when guests leave my country with beautiful smiles and memories of their safari with me.
I am good at hellos but not great at goodbyes!
Welcome! I will take you on a safari around my magical country Kenya!!
