Day 3 & 4

Tsavo East (Ithumba Camp)

Two exciting and adventurous days await you. You will visit the release station as often as possible. After two intense hours, you go back to camp. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before you go to the mud hole at around 10:30 a.m., where up to 100 young elephants gather. Some keep coming back years after being released into the wild. It is precisely here that you gain unforgettable memories.

Return for lunch around 1:00 PM. The afternoon is available for relaxation. On this day you go to the elephants again. Say goodbye to this special place and proceed to Lions Bluff Lodge in Lumo Conservancy after breakfast. This private sanctuary is home to large herds of wild elephants which are particularly protected here. The sanctuary lies between Tsavo West and Tsavo East and offers elephants a walking corridor between the parks. This protected area has over 4,000 members who all benefit from tourism and therefore have an increased interest in animal welfare. A fine example of a peaceful coexistence between humans and animals. In addition to the elephants, a lot of other animals can also be observed here. Dinner and overnight at Leopards Lair. (Full board).

Day 6

Lumo Conservancy

On this day you go for an extended game drive in the Lumo Conservancy. The protected area has only one accommodation and accordingly few visitors. At this point you are away from mass tourism and can watch the wild animals undisturbed. The lodge offers a fantastic view over the entire reserve and will inspire you too. Small hikes are also possible here on the large lodge area. All meals and overnight at Leopards Lair. (Full board).
